For the last year or so, I have been on my Martha Stewart. I have been painting and decorating everything and everywhere, but I have been neglecting my bedroom. I mean, my bedroom was not ugly at all, but it wasn’t a little over the top like I want it to be (shout out to my Leo moon). Recently, I bought some Black art from a Black artist to put on the walls, but that wasn’t enough for me. I needed more. I’ll discuss my bedroom upgrade on another post, but I recently setup a spirituality altar in my room and needed something to represent earth.
I was out and about running errands that I had been putting off cause I’ve been hiding from that girl Corona and while at Wal-Mart, I went to the home and garden section, not knowing what I was looking for at all. And that’s when I saw her. She was looking all healthy and green, waving her little prickly leaves at me. That’s when I knew she was the one (*insert Harley Quinn looking at her egg sandwich*). Love at first sight!
I searched Wal-Mart looking for her a new home because that ugly plastic planter wasn’t going to cut it, but I came up empty. However……….TJ Maxx was right around the corner. I found the cutest, I mean cutest, planter for my aloe baby. I hope you guys like it as much as I do. Without further ado, meet my aloe vera baby, Keylolo.
